"Our Weekend"

Well to kick our very busy weekend off,

My BEST friend from California came down to see us!

We were so excited to have her come and hangout with us this weekend.

Friday we went tubing down the Salt River!

We had a blast, LYN, Thank you for coming and I MISS you already!

Mom, thank you for watching the kids Friday so we could go, the kids had lots of fun with you, as they always DO!

Saturday, was not only my nephews birthday, but a very BIG day for Candice.

It was the day of her recital.

She got to dance in 5, YES 5 dances in her recital.

2 for tumbling, 1 for ballet, and 2 with daddy!

Oh did I forget to mention that Daddy got to dance with her in a "Daddy/daughter dance" It was so cute!

Candice did an AWESOME job and we are so very proud of her!

Sunday!

We went over to celebrate Parker's 1st Birthday!

Here is something funny to imagine....

(When we first arrived we were unloading the kids and the presents and the diaper bags, etc, and Parker's balloon that my sister had set outside started to fly away, and what went through my mind. "I have to get that balloon, I can get that balloon", So here I am with a diaper bag, a big present, some 3inch platform shoes running down the street chasing a balloon, I almost got it but the weight on it wasn't so heavy and the balloon leaped over the fence! BUMMER!!)

However PARKER had an awesome party!

He had a "water" party

the kids had a blast and so did the parents!

It was a party to remember!

Parker took a few of his first steps,

he had a lot of friends there,

he got a lot of presents.

He ate a lot of pizza, and snacks!

And his baby sitter made him this awesome smash cake!! He loves Happy meals!

AMAZING!

I want to learn how to make cakes from her!

Sadly Parker didn't want to touch it, it was defiantly to pretty to touch.

(I didn't get any more pictures after this because my camera needed a new battery sadly!)

And today after cleaning yesterday and catching up on all my house chores. I'm feeling really super lazy so we are going to see SHREK!
