“If you start judging people you will be having no time to love them… If we cannot love the person whom we see, how can we love god, whom we cannot see? ~ Mother Teresa

Remembrance and celebration

Today has marked the 10 year anniversary that our Country had changed.
"I WILL... always remember this day and how fast our country came together to help one another, and to fight for our freedom, The heros and loved ones we lost on this tragic day, and the heros we lost during this battle." 10 years ago on this day I was 18, I remember my mom calling me asking if I were "Okay" I wasn't to sure why she was asking and then she told me. But just a few years before that I was in NYC with my best friend and her family, and I just happened to snap a few pictures of the Towers, and to have these memories and to have getten to see them in person, not very many people get to in their life time.
I am Thankful each day for our country and how strong we can all be.
Not only did today mark the 10 year anniversary of 9-11.
It also started a new life for a very important couple in my life.
As we Welcome Angie into our family
My Dad got married to his beautiful friend today,
and with all the changes that had already been made,
I couldn't be any happier for them.
Mr and Mrs Cummins
Since I was a little girl "3" my parents had been divorced.
Honestly still to this day I ask "why"
They NEVER spoke bad of each other, they NEVER fought in front of us, they ALWAYS stood up for each other and were on the same "agreements" when it came to us kids, my dad was ALWAYS welcome to Holidays and Birthdays with NO issues, and still to this day they are GREAT friends. I am thankful every single day for that. However my "step father" (Daddy Dan) entered our family when I was "8" He accepted the relationship my parents have, and most of all her 3 kids she brought into the family.......
(I was NOT an easy kid)
My dad had girlfriends here and there but not one he ever really thought about a future with, and when we all met Angie earlier this year we KNEW it was a forever thing, But seriously SHOCKED and extremely HAPPY when 2 weeks ago they announced they were getting married. You can see the happiness Angie brings my dad, they get along so well.
Sunday when we all arrived at their house, my dad was so excited that he had constant "Happy tears" and she couldn't stop smiling. Just a really good environment and experience.
My dad deserves happiness and a beautiful bride/wife like Angie.
Best wishes to the New couple.
