Saturday Hike

Our Saturday hike this week was the "Peralta Trail"

It was a Moderate level.

4.5 miles!

We got to a later start then planned. And we were all really tired when we got there. But we woke up fairly fast when we looked up and realized that we had a LONG hike ahead of us!

NO! There was no roll play at all!

This was real....Ken tripped the rock was going to crush him so Russ caught the rock and held it high for Ken to get out!

After a few rests, water breaks, bad words, we MADE IT to the top...

While we were sitting there enjoying the top of the mountain we heard a little bird making little chirping noises. He was ornery.

While I was eating my trail mix and throwing my raisins out. He was collecting them. He was just so cute I wanted to take him home, but they all thought that was a bad idea.

All in all we had a GREAT hike!
