No School..

Today we had no school, I actually look forward to no school days, as much as I look forward to having 2 1/2 hours of Me time... The only reasoning is because I don't have to fight with the kids on how they are dressed, how their hair is. What dog is going to school with us. (usually Kody) Our Saint ALWAYS WINS!! Just because he is so stubborn and LOVES to push his way out the door. It is so funny because the kids get out of the car and I have to wipe them down with a baby wipe because of his slobber and drool! EWW.....so happy I sit in the driver seat! Rowdy, when he goes with us, he usually sits up front he for some reason feels THAT special. Its pretty hilarious! The kids think its SO FUNNY and they just laugh!  So we didn't do much, with a NO SCHOOL DAY..so boring right! Instead I cleaned this messy office, filling the recycle bin pretty much full with all the papers I have been hoarding, and JUNK! Our NEW neighbor came over to play her name is Kalaya, she is so sweet. she LOVES Candice and the girls get along so well! I got a lot of cleaning done because she came over which makes me a happy Momma! I LOVE play dates! I also made a delicious meal, it was spicy but so YUMMY.....the kids even appreciated it. It had a pork tenderloin soaked in salsa Verde, and yellow beans, cooked in the slow cooker and it was GOOD!
Later this evening I decided I needed to get Birthday invites out, so I HAND made them! My first time EVER. Proud of myself. I saved some money because I have scrap paper! Candice is pretty excited she wanted to invite all her pre school friends. So those invites go out tomorrow! We love to save money around here, and being a stay at home mom, I have realized that its a good "hobby" Im always looking for scraps, and savings. Im a sucker for clothes tho. Kids clothes...I can shop on the clearance rack for hours and leave spending tons of money, but I feel good about it because I have tons of clothes to show for it. I dont even do that alot.
Tonight I had a "date" with my friend Yessi she joined Scentsy and is going to sell it with me now, So I went to help her get started and she is pretty excited about it! Now Im so tired and ready for bed.
