Spring Break for the boys...so that means Spring break for me too!
Having a 7 and 6 year old here for the week, just knowing that they are out of school for Spring Break, makes it actually feel like Spring Break.
Cam says "Kelly, I think we need to go pick up dog poop"
Me "Good Idea, and you know what? Your LUCKY cause I just picked it up so you have just a little but to pick up, like yesterdays and today's"
Cam "yeah (laughing) we are lucky!"
Out they go picking up doggy poo, and I'm thinking it's really hot out there, they continued to play as I was cleaning they wanted to stay outside so I told them to pick some weeds and they can earn a "water ball" They were SOOO excited every single weed that they pulled they showed me or yelled "I got another weed" then they come across a weed that they couldn't yank out of the ground so I'd go outside and help them. (with their little garden tools I got them, each a shovel and a rake, not the plastic ones) So I called Mr Hardy and asked him to pick up the water ball on his way home, and he did. So yesterday we (me and 5 kids) had a busy day! 925am Dr's appointment for Sue, then had to be at dance by 10am then Mr Hardy wanted us to eat lunch with him so we went straight there only stopping once at Sonic for a delicious treat. After lunch in the park, headed home, to only see we got the ball!! Sprayed all the kids down with sun block got the ball all set up in the back yard, the dogs all locked up. To realize we only have 1 choice play in the MUDD with no shoes or with got shoes....so put shirts on all the kids ran down to Wal-Mart to get some new sandals and Austin, Sue and Eats new swim suits, because they didn't have any and well to a girl its dramatic! So we come home and I changed my mind got all the kids ready and set the ball up outside in the drive way....about 15mins into playing we had doubled the kids. (9 kids) when suddenly the ball broke because someone ran into it with the wiggle car! :( BUMMER! But it was a blazing HOT 86 degrees and it's only going to get hotter! YIKES!
Can't wait for tomorrow we will be playing in the rain! YIPPIE!!

I am glad to see that it's warm enough to play outside in the water....they have been soooo excited to get to do that! :) Glad they are having fun and love the pic of Austin and his girlfriend!!! :)
