“If you start judging people you will be having no time to love them… If we cannot love the person whom we see, how can we love god, whom we cannot see? ~ Mother Teresa

Neglecting house work for yard work?

That is right!
I have been neglecting my house work, to work on our backyard!
I do not want another summer with dirt!
I have been seeing 100 degree signs all over, in my car I got in and burnt my legs because it was SO hot and my car said it was 100 degrees outside! So we are going to try to get this done before it gets to hot!
Day 1: Friday we (Russ and I) headed out to pick up all the materials,
1 pallet of pavers, 2 pallets of flagstone, and a lot of cement and sand to mix!
It didn't seem like we did a lot however unloading all the pavers and flagstone was a LOT considering it was SUPER heavy!
After unloading all the heavy materials, we laid the entire border for the grass.
Day 2: Saturday, sadly my one of my brothers very best friends father passed away due to illness. Forever in our hearts Brent
However Russ and I picked up My dad and continued on the backyard, we decided to rent a trenture to get the work done just a tad faster. So we spent a HUGE chunk of the day digging and putting in the sprinklers. I painted the play house a little more, and also stained my "raised planter"
I have been putting in my "wants" for the backyard, and Russell has been listening. I asked for a little sitting area off in "no mans land" so that I can sit in the corner of the yard, drink my coffee and read the newspaper in the morning while the kids play and I can SEE it ALL!
So this is what my "little" are looks like.
I need to find a cute little table for it. Day 3: Sunday.....we actually didn't work on the yard at all so it is not really considered a day is it? We went over to help Chris "who's Father passed away" on his roof. He had to "re-roof" it and we figured we would help him get done a little faster so he can spend some time with his family. And that is just my husband he is a good genuine man! Always, Always willing to help. I wanted to so badly however am scared of heights. So roofing was just NOT for me! That was an ALL day project it self. Day 3-4: Monday Russell stayed home from work, work is slow :( So we worked on the yard, Our help arrived (my daddy and brother) and we started putting the gas line in, finishing the sprinklers. Paved a little more, we made a walk way to Candice's play house with pavers "totally cute" Cut some flagstone pieces because my brilliant mind went off. We have some "drains" coming off the patio and their are 6 of them. when it rains the water just drains and it falls into the grass just perfectly, so I thought it would be a GREAT idea to put flagstone pieces under them to catch the water, and it turned out very nice. and totally BRILLIANT! Here are a few pictures of today.... Can you tell she is a "dancer" When I say "Candice smile" She totally poses for the Camera. I'm sure it doesn't help that her dance class just had "pictures" totally cute!! I can not wait to see them! Trouble! Just minding his own. He is a GOOD kid.
Sammie, she hung out in her car for a while. Just watching and enjoying herself like always. My dad and Brother, putting together the gas line
Me: Is it tight?
Them: I hope so
Me: Me too
Them: We will see when your house blows up.
Me: Good to know :(
The Man himself....putting the sprinklers together, thinking "Another picture" Poor guy is so sun burnt!
