A little vacation

This past weekend July 8Th - the 11Th, we decided to take a little vacation. We needed it in all kinds of ways! Our very sweet neighbors went to California for their vacation and rented a condo next to the beach for a week, and they called us all week inviting us to join them. So keeping it a very inexpensive weekend we went, and hung out with them. Thursday when we arrived all 4 of the children were so cramped from the car ride. We didn't stop one time, not even for gas. So they were a little crazy, and wanted to do stuff ASAP. After unloading the truck we took all the kids to the beach. Where they complained the entire time because it was to cold and windy, and the tide was high. So we quickly made a few sand castles and left. I however, was LOVING the beach!! SOOO BEAUTIFUL and peaceful!

So we got there on a Thursday and stayed till Saturday, sadly I have had a lot on my mind so I didn't think to take a ton of pictures, Usually I could tell the story in pictures but not this time. Anyhow we brought our bikes, and they were a HIT. We rode them up and down the walks and it was so much fun. We didn't do Sea World this year just the beach, But we still had a BLAST! Candice wants to know what she did and why we can't see Shamu right now, She is so sweet and did nothing wrong. We just wanted to relax this time around and enjoy each others company.

A few cool things happened while we were in California...

• while we were out on the beach a seal come swimming up to about 25 feet away from us. It was the coolest thing EVER!
• We saw a guitar fish that someone had caught, Austin was very upset that we couldn't keep it for our pet
• Austin found a clam and named him clammy, we released him the next day after explaining to Austin that he isn't a good pet.
• Samantha got to experience the beach for her FIRST time, she loved it and wanted to be held while I was walking around in the water.

Saturday we left and went to see my Best Friend and spent the night with her and her family, we had a great time!
