Meet Chocolate

This is our new family member "Chocolate"

he is a Guinea pig.

I have been wanting the kids to have a small "caged" pet for a loooong time.

but Daddy and I were raised entirely different from one another. I'm slowly getting him to give in a little more when it comes to pets, inside pets, and outside pets but letting those pets inside...

Growing up I always had a "caged" pet..

My first little guy was "Panda Bear" he was a little hamster.

Then I got another hamster named "cookie"

then I got "Neal" he was a hamster as well... I had them forever!!

I had a little parakeet names "Blue" he was SOOO romantic he would go outside with me, never flew away. He'd cuddle, he was rarely in his cage.

After he passed my parents thought they could replace him with another parakeet that I named "Romeo" Then I got a Cockatoo named "Sidney" I gave him to my step father and he actually ended up giving him away. He use to talk he was yell "Kelly" say bad words and "Hi" he was a cool bird when he was IN his cage. I also had a ferret named "Razz" he was potty trained, he would chase me around my room, I'd have to call Uncle Alan to come get him and put him away. He was a crazy little guy. I also had/'still have a dog named Roxy. She lives with my Grandma and Grandpap.

See I always had some sort of pet. They were extremely fun.

However when we took you guys to the pet store the other day. I asked if you would rather a "rat" Guinea pig" or "bird"

Candice yells "I want Chocolate mommy, he is looking at me" as you were laughing so hard.

We went home and I BEGGED daddy to let us get "Chocolate" so the next day "Sunday" we went back and got him...needless to say I think Daddy LOVE Chocolate more then we do. :)
