"I want to be just like Momma"

Every time I hear my daughter say

"Mommy, I want to be JUST like you, because I LOVE you Mommy"

I squeeze and kiss her and it just melts me...

I pray and hope that she is a lot like me when she is older.

Candice if you are anything like me when you grow older,

you will most likely not be crafty, or book smart, but you will have intelligence in a lot of different ways, you will be strong wheeled and you will have children that appreciate you and love you with all their heart. You will be the heart beat of your family and have a lot of energy.

I hope that you receive what god has blessed me with and so much more.

However,

Every year on my anniversary I have made it a tradition now, I pull out my "Princess" dress

(as the kids call it, Austin started that) and wear it while I get ready for our date.....This year Candice was dying to wear it. She just couldn't wait for me to take it off so that she could try it on.

After I took my dress off I hear....

Candice "Mommy, am I as pretty as you?"

Daddy "your gorgeous, let me fix you up"

Candice "I'm gorgeous daddy"

I just watched dad dress up his little girl in my dress and it melted me.

What a beautiful and fun little girl I have!
