January 21, 2011
Today is the first day of the year that we got to sleep in,
stay home, stay in our pajamas, and not have to worry about being on time to anything.
Because today is the first day of the year we didn't have to be anywhere.
After Ethan woke everyone in the house up this morning at around 8:45
We started our morning, washed A load of laundry, cleaned up the front yard, put away some Christmas lights, (yes our house Christmas lights are STILL up, because I can't reach them)
Mowed the front yard, and back yard. Sammi and I picked up the doggy doo doo.
Came back inside, to organize the pots and pans. (since I got some NEW nice ones for Christmas)
Cleaned the Kitchen, snacked a little, cleaned the living room.
MUCH needed work to be done around here.
Yesterday: Aunt Kristina, Parker, Candice, Ethan, Samantha, and Myself went to IKEA!
It's a GREAT place.
I wanted to get some organizers
Our drive there was nice, my sister and I got to talk, I always enjoy her company.
After we got there, we decided to eat lunch (IKEA meatballs YES please)
After we sat down, poor little Pawker threw up EVERYWHERE!!
We got him all cleaned up and my sister cleaned up
(she thinks she has to catch EVERY throw up)
We got to walk IKEA!
It is ALWAYS an adventure with my little guy Ethan... ; )
We got a few things that we "had to have"
and out to the car we went.
(My Tahoe has no trunk)
were we thinking that while we were shopping??
Absolutely NOT!
We managed to get it all in the car with some good help from an IKEA guy!
Today after cleaning the down stairs I went up stairs to find nothing but a huge disaster.
LUCKILY, I wanted to organize their rooms and got some organizers from IKEA.
First I started off with Candices room
(I didn't get any before pictures of her room because I wasn't thinking pictures at the time)
We hung all of her "dresses" and organized her Barbies, Baby dolls, Dress up accessories, cooking items, and things in the bins...
She was THRILLED to now know right where her "barbie stuff" is so she can just pull it out and play with them!!
(YIKES)
I did get a before on this one, if you look and see the "red" bucket that was the "toy box"
You can see he obviously couldn't find what he was looking for at the top of the bucket ; )
After:
We organized trucks and cars, little guy figurines, bowling pins, Nerf bullets, and things in the bins. The bucket is full of balls, and we can now put his tool set in his room.
He was thrilled to know right where his cars are now...
Her bins have dress up accessories, Lego's, cooking "felt" items, baby dolls, and things!
She really doesn't care, she likes to play in her sister and brothers rooms.
Candice took a picture of herself when I was not looking :) Cute Candice
This is "THE MESS" Everything that HAD to go, I decided I'm going to have a "garage Sale"
Everything is going for a BUCK! Tomorrow!
