“If you start judging people you will be having no time to love them… If we cannot love the person whom we see, how can we love god, whom we cannot see? ~ Mother Teresa

our evening

Home depot run anyone?
We sure LOVE Home depot and any chance we get we go.
And what other way to go to Home depot other then in our airplane slippers?!
Well......there is no other way.
I can honestly say that our Home depot trip was "interesting" this time,
We got some floor boards and a few other things to start a project in our house.
And after a few hours in Home depot, we strapped everything down in the back of the trailer.
headed on over to the "auto" store for a few things, and to our surprise our moldings were
G-O-N-E!
Yes, they were NOT in the trailer.
Russ gets back in the truck looks at me and says....
"Our wood is gone"
and well I can not help but to laugh because I found it very funny.
We start back tracking our trip and thankfully a very HONEST man saw us turn and witnessed everything just slide smoothly right out of our trailer, (back at Home depot)
What were the chances of that??
This very nice man had picked it all up off the street and piled it all nicely on the sidewalk and waited patiently for 15 - 2o minutes for us.
(that is how long it took us to find it)
How AWESOME was that?!?!
So this morning while my BEAUTIFUL babies were eating, Guess what I did?!?
I ripped out the base boards!
Those little guys are a goner and I can not wait to have my new ones!
Other then yard work, my second favorite thing to do is demolition...
I love to knock things out, tear things up and make things look a little better.
Because I am my kids favorite "toy" they kept everything nice and clean for me,
While I tore the boards out they cleaned my mess!
Aww how I love my babies!!
However tonight we did NOT start on the base boards as planned.
As you can see my handsome husband sitting on this very tall and large scaffold beam. Because Home depot "guaranteed" us a fan installation if we bought it there. 22ft ceilings. You got a deal. We need a fan and we DON'T want to mess with that mess. SO when I called to make an appointment today they decided to tell me that is was "standard ceiling" installation. They can put it in for 190 bucks....NO thanks! I'd rather pay the 20 for scaffold beam and do it our self. So I called to complain and the manager was a little upset that they told us that. However I was not complaining on any "particular" person, complaining they are giving false information and all employees should be corrected, because I was a little disturbed. So that is what we are doing tonight.....AWESOME right?
