Our Weekend started out AWESOME!
Friday we got our "Scent bears"
(that Grandma got us)
(you can get them here )
WE LOVE THEM!!
(we LOVE the boxes too)
Saturday evening we were invited to "Princess Juliet's" Birthday Party.
We had TONS of fun, Swinging, Playing in the sand, Climbing, jumping, AND cousin Walter was AWESOME with the kids!! (He will be THAT dad everyone wants)
After the YUMMY food that we enjoyed, the kids went over to "WHACK" the pinata
I had to HELP Ethan out because he got "stage" fright with everyone watching.
Sammi LOVED hitting.....(the wrong way) BUT LOVED IT!
Candice wouldn't hit it, but insist on having one at her Birthday Party!
After we realized there was CANDY inside.....
WE LOVED IT!!
Sunday, we went over to Grandmas for a BBQ and swimming. Sadly I didn't get any pictures. However we had a great time, and of course....DELICIOUS food!!
Monday Was NOT going to be waisted....We started our morning off right..
-One GRANDEE Pumpkin Spice non fat no whip Latte.
-One trip to Mc Donald's for some delicious cakes, and hash browns. AND some play time.
- A trip to Chandler mall for a few hours!
- Some AWESOME Family time at Freestone Park!
It was $1 weekend to kick off opening weekend so we rode some "JET skis"
Then the TRAIN!!
Then a walk around the park
(more like memory lane for me)
When I was younger I would take all my "dates" the Freestone, (after our real date) and we would walk around. Talk, enjoy each others company. ETC!
I'd hit at the batting cages to get some frustration out.
After I got my drivers license I would take my puppy Roxy there ALL the time and we would walk around the park and I would chase her, and she was SCARED of the ducks, I would go there when I needed just ME time. Freestone was always my "get away" What a beautiful park. So many people there with their kids, I remember thinking when I was younger. I can not wait to have kids so that I could take them there and share a great positive place with them.
One of my all time FAVES-
When my husband and I started to date he KNEW, he would find me there if I were not at home.
One time before we were together he asked if he could come talk to me, he really needed to talk.
So I told him, if I told him where I was he was NEVER to go there again. Or to call me at that!
He PROMISED....so I told him and he came.
Right away, he starts talking as we were walking around the park and he was following a GOOSE....and the Goose turned around and started to chase him, I have never seen a grown man run so fast and look so frightened. I was laughing hysterically. I was in tears! HAHAH.....still makes me laugh so hard when I think about it. He laughs because I think he was embarrassed and because it makes me laugh!
Anyhow...I decided we needed a family picture So I tuned my timer on and THIS is the excitement at the time..
We LOVED the ducks and forgot the bread to feed them
The BEST part was rolling DOWN the hill....Daddy showed us, and he about broke his legs because they were flopping together HAHA!!!
Candice showing Daddy that this is the proper way to roll down the hill!
Candice wanted to "race" down the hill....this is how it went...
C: "Ethan lay down"
E: "ok "
C: "ready GO, its a race"
Ethan starts rolling and Candice starts running!
HILARIOUS!
Sammi realized that it was just NOT her style.
So she sat at the bottom of the hill with me and we took pictures.
TONS of them! ;)
On our walk back to the car. I told the kids..."If you catch a DUCK we will take him home and have him as our PET" Ethan tried. But Candice didn't realize why they would want to run away from us.
It was a GREAT day at the park, I walked through a TON of memories, and also made NEW ones....
I then got spoiled....and Daddy, took us to Nandos!
DELICIOUS.
We then came home and played at the park and drew on the side walk with chalk until late and we had to go to bed :(
I wish everyday could be this good!
