our weekend

Lately we have not had a weekend with our beloved daddy, he has been working 2 weeks and 3 weekends straight on a car that he is doing on the side. We are so proud of him that he is so unique and talented and can do the things that he can. He impresses me with his skills every single day.

He got up super early Saturday so that he can come home early and celebrate Candice's birthday party with us, we invited her pre school class to "Makutus Island" they had a BLAST!

The turn out was awesome, and she has a little crush on this boy named Michael. She says "he ain't no Justin Beiber but he sure is cute!" They were running around holding hands and being super cute. I was joking with his mom and I was saying well i guess its time we go get coffee and talk about this? She just laughed until he gave Candice a kiss goodbye!! She got her first kiss and I was in SHOCK!

its OK they wont be going to the same Kindergarten.

So yesterday my brother watched the kids for me for a little bit so that I can go hangout with Russ while he was working on the car. We had a good time talking and joking around.

After that we went picked up the kids and Russ took the kids swimming. it was a beautiful day out 81 degrees. Water is still a little cold for me. But Russ and the kids sure had fun.

We grilled sausages and stuffed jalapenos.

MM it was so delicious!

Another brilliant thing I did do this weekend was clean out the kids rooms, I went to Wal Mart bought 6 totes, and cleaned all the toys out of their rooms, Put them in totes. Girls toys in purple totes and boys toys in green totes. Moved everything to the loft. I just wish I had doors on it. They think its a great idea, and I think so too. I just hope it really works out the way I plan on it too. Clean up at the end of the day and have a clean play room? Maybe.....I also told them all toys must stay in the play room. (we will see) So far its working.

Russ is not to happy but the idea of it is so that the toys stay upstairs. and I dont spend ALL day picking up toys. Im sure every mom knows that feeling.

Candice thinks we should paint a BIG HUGE rainbow on the walls....I love that kid and her ideas.
