Sing it

I am known to sing "everything" around here.

If I am not singing, that means I am probably on the phone.

I am very aware of my singing voice and how off pitch I am. And crackly my voice is. I am NOT a singer. I am aware of this. However my family enjoys/expects me to sing everything I say. Last night Austin read me a book. (he is a very good reader indeed)

However, every evening after Austin reads me a book, the smaller kids like me to re-read the book to them.

I pick up the book and flip to page one, clear my voice and start to sing...... as a JOKE!

I sing the entire page and start cracking up!

I look around at everyone waiting for me to continue.

So I sing the next page...

Austin is laughing, he thought it was funny. Candice, Ethan, and Sam, just use to the way I am.

I start laughing thinking this is FUNNY, I just sang the fist 2 pages of this book...."who does that?"........I DO!!

Russ says, " I bet you can't sing the entire book"

So I start singing in my "Broadway tone" and I continue singing to the end.

I then sing to the kids, "and now its time to say goodnight as we all go and tuck in tight"

Austin thinks this is just hilarious!

This morning we woke up LATE, I am NOT a morning person....No one in this family are morning people.  I get a book thrown at me from Ethan.

"MOM, sing"

MADE MY MORNING!!

It is so funny, yet so nice that my children like to hear my "singing", and accept the fact that I sing EVERYTHING"
