Neon Splash Dash 5K

 Lately I have had a lot on my mind,

I am a Full time Mother and a Full time Wife.

I decided I wanted to do something for myself.

So I have set a few goals,

One of the few was to run a 5K.

I have never, and I HATE running. I HATE working out.

But this is something I have wanted to do for so long.

And the BEST part about this was, we benefited an organization,

Hands and Voices, for the deaf.

If you know me, I am a sucker for handicapped people.

I love them.

3.2 miles of running and I did it, with happy thoughts!

The other awesome thing about this was,

I was talking about it to our softball team.

I was saying I really wanted to run a 5k, and I wanted to run THIS 5k.

All of a sudden a few of them joined with me!

I sure do have amazing people in my life.

We ran in superman underwear or you can call it "over wear"

Because we wore them over our shorts.

What an awesome experience, and I hope to run more in the future...

Because 2 days later my legs were KILLING me!!
