26 Days till Christmas

Every year we do the 26 days till Christmas count down, I am going to try to document it this year. Because last year is "LOST"  Every morning when we wake up we flip the card that is on the"date" on our count down calendar. Starting with the 1st day of Christmas.

On the 1st day of Christmas Our card read:

Decorate the Christmas Tree, (in our P.J's)

Friday after school we patiently awaited dad's arrival from work to decorate our Christmas Tree.

When dad got home we first ate dinner.

Then put our P.J.'s on.

As we started to get out all the ornaments. I realized I was completely un prepared. Apparently I must have hit up the "ornaments" that were on sale after Christmas last year (and forgot) because the kids had broke so many last year. Not to mention I grabbed another 100 ornaments from Sams club our last "Sams trip"

So as we were all completely excited to get our Christmas Tree decorated, I was trying to put hooks on all the bulbs to keep up with all of the kids that were being so kind and patient.  

They were all singing Christmas music, and dancing. Scoping the next branch they were going to put a bulb on. It was so much FUN to watch and listen and see big smiles on their precious faces.

We all laughed at Sam because she literally put 10 bulbs on one branch 5 bulbs on the branch right next to that, and 3 bulbs on the branch right under the other branches.

So everyone was laughing and counting how many bulbs would fit on a branch.

It took us about 30 minutes to decorate because I couldn't move fast enough.

When we were all done we turned  off all the lights and stared at our beautiful tree.

That was our "1st day of Christmas"
