“If you start judging people you will be having no time to love them… If we cannot love the person whom we see, how can we love god, whom we cannot see? ~ Mother Teresa

17 Days till Christmas

On the 10 Day of Christmas our card read:
Mom, Dad, Austin, and Candice are going to run the Hot Chocolate 5k, then relax with a movie.
After such a late night Saturday night, Daddy and I talked both Austin and Candice out of running the 5k with us. They both really wanted to go, but after explaining that we were going to run 3.3 miles they decided they would go with Ethan and Sammie to Po-Po and Mo-Mo's house! We are going to start practicing running around the neighborhood before we get them out on the "race tracks"
They were both complaining they were tired of walking Saturday night and that was only about a block and a half of walking. They both get up and ride their bikes next to dad in the mornings when he goes for his morning run.
Getting up at 5am to run a 5k was a little hard because we love our sleep, and it was FREEZING!
Their were 7000 people running for Chocolate.
This is our second 5k, and we are very happy about it.
Dad paced himself to run next to me, but toward the end I could see in his face that he just wanted to RUN, so I talked him into going on with out me. Dad finished at 29 minutes averaging 9 minutes a mile.
I finished at 32.20minutes averaging 10.20minutes a mile. Not bad for my second 5k and not ever running!
After finishing we got a mug with fruits and dipping chocolate, with a nice cup of hot chocolate! Totally worth running for! ;)  The funds for this event went to the Ronald McDonald Charity.

After the race Dad and I went to pick up all the kids and instead of going home to watch a movie, we went to the movies.
We saw "Rise of the Guardians"
Dad, Sammie, and I slept through the entire movie. Candice, Ethan, and Austin said it was such an Awesome movie!
So glad that you guys enjoyed it!
That marks our 10 Day of Christmas!
