we got our grass in the backyard and few other things we have been wanting for a while.
The grass in the backyard is a HUGE hit!!
We have been enjoying it since the day we put it in!
Anyways,
Cam and Austin are here for Christmas this year.
We have been having a BLAST!
Our Christmas turned out to be so much fun and EVERYONE got what they asked for.
Grandma spoiled all the kids, and Russ and Myself, with lots of great things!
Then Santa came and spoiled all of us.....
Cam got a BIG r/c truck, Austin got lots of spy gear, Ethan got a big tool set, Candice got a HUGE doll house, and Sam got a little doll house, and ALL the kids got "hex bugs" and sooo much more.
Then on top of that Grandma Hardy sent every kid a gift card to buy whatever they wanted at Wal Mart, so we made a trip in the rain to Wal-Mart and picked out that special toy we felt the need to have.
Cam got a rip stick, Austin got a "dragon" from the movie "how to train a dragon, Ethan got some motorcycles, Candice got a talking Dora the explorer backpack and Sammie got a rocking horse. It has been a ton of fun!
Christmas day, didn't feel to much like Christmas.
My Poppy has been very ill and in the hospital with pneumonia, then Monday morning had a small heart attack, so it has been tough,
they didn't get to join us for Christmas dinner, and my parents left right after dinner to go visit him.
Other then Christmas we have had other great things going on, getting ready for the New Year,
setting our goals, playing in the sprinklers (oops) playing in the snow in the freezing cold. (yes it has been snowing on and off today) it has been AWESOME!
We also went to the Polar Express last Wednesday,
We rode on a train, sang songs, drank hot chocolate, got to visit with Santa and he even brought us bells!!!
When we got on the train it was raining, and when we got off the train it was SNOWING!!
It has been a good month, and tomorrow we will celebrate our new year to come!
This year has been awesome and I hope next year brings us more joy and good health!
