Today Austin got to choose dinner and cook it for the entire family.

But he got to cook it MY way.

That way he could try it the way I make it.

He chose PIZZA, He told me he wanted it EXTRA cheesey and extra Pepperoni!!

Today we went to the store to get everything for his PIZZA!

He was so excited to cook for the family.

He was even MORE excited when I brought him a can of sprite to drink while he cooks.

(I always drink a soda when I cook)

So he thought that was fun and felt extra special!

His PIZZA was  HITT!!  

However,

Yesterday at dinner I made fish tacos for Dad and I,

and the kids had Cheesey Pasta noodles with beef.

The conversation came up, as to WHY we got fish tacos and they got pasta?

I explained that I didn't think that the kids would like the fish tacos and I had never made them before so I didn't want to take the chance of them not liking them.

Cameren said "Kelly everything you cook is good, I know I would like it" 

So dad came up with this GREAT idea.

5 days a week, and 5 kids.

Each day one kid will pick a dinner of THEIR choice, they will learn to make it the way I would make it, that way they can see how I would make their favorite dinner.

I think this is an AWESOME idea!

So they drew straws and Austin got the biggest straw, then Sammi, Candice, Cameren, and Ethan.

We all know that Sam is not going to stay and help so we moved Ethan to Tuesdays and Sam to Fridays.

So we wrote down our weekly menu.

Austin decided he wanted to make PIZZA,

I'm not a huge pizza eater so I made dad and I shrimp tacos while Austins pizza was in the oven!

(Dad was a little excited because he LOVES him some shrimp tacos!)
