Sick Day

Being a Mom

You don't get any sick days.

Now that ALL my babies are feeling better, I thought today was going to be a productive day,

Then I woke up,

I couldn't open my eye, it was glued shut.

My throat was on fire.

It was 5 o clock in the morning and I thought to myself

"I need to get into the Urgent Care before all the kids awake so I can go alone"

Nope I was not getting away THAT easy.

What Urgent Care is open 24hours?

None they all open at 8-9

So I went back to sleep on the couch, to wake up to all 5 kids snuggled up with me.

I felt like my chest was going to cave in, so I asked them to all get up and put shoes on.

We all headed up to Urgent Care to confirm that I can not be left out.

I got what the kids have, strep throat, and a swollen eye full of boogers :(

That is why I love my kids, I never leave them behind and they most certainly leave me behind.

So we have had a napping/TV kind of day.

( We did go to COX to get a new remote control and a new router for the computer, all the kids got a cute little white cox guy. and they all call him "COX dude")

That was the most excitement we did all week.

Cameren is just floating on cloud 9 with the TV being on ALL DAY!

Hopefully by tomorrow we will all be feeling better and be able to do something.

We have cabin fever!!
